A small studio with a big diary
Inês opened Maré in 2019. Three of us now, one chair at a time, and the kettle always on. We remind you when you're due, text if something frees up, and keep your colour notes so nobody has to guess.

Before you book
Do I need a patch test?
Yes, for any colour or tint, brow and lash tints included, at least 48 hours before. It takes ten minutes, it's free and you can book it online. Had one with us in the last six months? You're all set.
Do you take a deposit?
Only for the long colour appointments: £20 for a full colour and £40 for balayage, paid online when you book and taken off the price on the day.
What if I need to cancel or move?
Move or cancel free up to 48 hours before, with the link in your confirmation. Inside 48 hours we keep the deposit, because a three-hour slot is hard to fill at short notice.
I'm running late. What happens?
Send us a message. We'll still fit you in if we can, or move you to the next free time without any fuss.
Do you do bridal hair?
Yes. Trials in the studio, and on the morning we come to you within 20 miles. Send us the date and how many of you, and we'll send the bridal pack.
How do I pay?
By card on the day. Deposits are paid online when you book.
